What type of bikes are in sons of anarchy

It's not a real Harley with parts from an Evolve engine along with a special hardtail frame, mini ape hangers, and a springer seat. The result is a genuinely unique chopper that stands out from the group. As Bobby was always his own man within the club, it makes sense he'd have a bike all his own. A three-wheel bike may not seem like a fine choice.

But this Electra Tri-Glide bucks the trend. It was used by Piney, and the extra wheel helped when his health was failing. The Tri-Guide is a top-notch bike with a twin-cooled Milwaukee-eight engine that can deliver as much as pound-feet of torque at 3, rpm. It's also far more fuel-efficient with 42 miles to a gallon. This item also had touches like extra space in the back for Piney's oxygen tank, and the fact it kept up with the rest of the gang proves its power. Tig may not be the most Like many of the gang's bikes, the V engine has been modified for better performance, and Tig adding touches to match his quirky personality.

Like the man himself, this is an unpredictable but feisty beast of a bike. This bike was rented by the studio for use during filming, and it is quite a beauty. This Harley-Davidson Knucklehead is a custom work that combines some of the best features from their Knucklehead models. Although this bike was not built for the show, it represents all the qualities John Teller would want in a bike. Fans just cannot get enough of it. The following are some of the customizations of this bike. If you were lucky enough to get your hands on this bike, you would likely feel it is worth every cent and much more.

It is obvious to fans that these bikes are modeled after the lowrider look, and fans love them. The Mayans ride lowered Softails that are packed with customizations. The Softail Deluxe models feature the following customizations.

These bikes are chromed out. Taddarius Orwell, known as TO, had a bright orange bike that screamed just like his fun personality. This bike stood out more than any other on the show.

TO was the leader of the Grim Motorcycle Club. His bike features the following cool custom features. It is undoubtedly one of the coolest motorcycles used in soa. This is a controversial bike among fans. Some love it, and some hate it, but everyone talks about it always. There is just something cool about old British motorcycles. This bike stood out like a sore thumb in the show because it was not a Harley.

Most fans hate the character that road the bike, which is none other than the Assistant U. Attorney who was sent to investigate the Sons. Its cool retro style makes it a favorite, even if fans do not want to admit they like these bikes in soa. It is clear to see that Sons of Anarchy is packed with some of the most beautiful motorcycles on the planet.

In fact, some of these bikes we would just avoid , at least if we had to buy them with our own money. Now, here's the surprising part; some of those really uncool bikes were owned by the heroes of the show. Let's take a closer look at five bikes on SOA we wouldn't ride, and ten bikes that are worth every single penny. When Jax took on the role of club president, Chibs became the new VP.

He had a long history with the club as he'd started out as a member of the Belfast charter which had ties to the IRA. However, his was a bit different as it didn't feature a front fairing. The bike was unique to him and his passionate personality. Some of the custom touches on his Dyna include; matte black Z-bars and tiny little Saint Andrew's cross patch on the back of his saddle, along with the Anarchy symbol on the tank.

His bike doesn't really offer any frills. There are two fat wheels, a big V-twin engine, a solo saddle, and that's about it. One might argue that's all that's needed as it's the perfect setup for some fun! Charlie Hunnam played Jax, the main character on the show. As the most important and the most popular character, Jax would definitely need a ride that matched his personality.

This mean beast of a Harley actually offers both power and handling — and that's something we don't hear often when the cruiser bike brand is mentioned.

As a sign of his allegiance to the club, there's a detailed graphic of the reaper on his gas, the bike also features a small front fairing and some custom handlebars. Overall, the bike looks badass, sounds badass, and handles like a dream. What more could we ask for? Clearly, it's worth every penny! Emilio Rivera stars as Marcus Alvarez on the show. The leader of the Mayans made his debut on the show in the first episode and was last seen on the series finale.

During the first two seasons, he was the main antagonist but came to an uneasy truce with the Sons. Of course, he also appears in the spinoff series Mayans MC. The coolest part about the bike ridden by Alvarez on the show is that it's actually owned by Rivera himself. It's a stunning Road King with custom Mayan Green paint, a very fitting color for a bike ridden by the Mayans' president and it looks great.

Former 'Sergeant at Arms', Tig is probably the club's most violent and ruthless member. His loyalty to the club, and in particular, Clay, is solid but his That said, Tig often gets the best one-liners of the show and is a dog lover, which we can always get behind.

Tig's Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob matches his personality completely, looking every bit the outlaw's motorcycle. The Street Bob has an air cooled, V-twin, 4 stroke engine with cc engine displacement. Like Piney's trike, this bike also has a six-speed transmission but instead has an 85ftlbs torque and 4. Tig's bike also features several spikes and skulls and the design choice of chrome alongside matte black presents an edgy contrast.

He shows his allegiance to the club with a simple SOA logo on the bike's tank. Again, Chibs rides a Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob but stands out through his lack of front fairing and matte black Z-bars with risers. This no mess design is complimented by the Anarchy symbol on the bike's tank.

The bike also hints at his Scottish roots with a small Saint Andrew's cross on the saddle. That bring's us to the end of our list. Other characters, like the Mexican biker gang, the Mayans, bring their own unique style to the show through the bikes that they ride, showing a bike is not simply a mode of transportation but an extension of each character's identity. We couldn't agree more. Can't get enough of Sons of Anarchy? Check out our feature on the gangs featured in Sons of Anarchy here now!
